Current Sex Offender Information

This information is provided to the public pursuant to Chapter 692A of the Code of Iowa to help protect members of the community from potential harm. The Iowa Sex Offender Registry became law on July 1, 1995.

It is illegal to use information obtained through the Sex Offender Registry to commit a crime against a registered sex offender or to engage in discrimination or harassment against a registered sex offender. Information contained in the registry is intended solely to help individuals protect themselves and children who may be at risk. Any actions taken against these individuals, including vandalism, verbal or written threats, or physical assault against them, their families, or employers, may result in arrest and prosecution.

This site may not contain the complete list of registered sex offenders residing in Clayton County. If you suspect a convicted sex offender is living in the community and is not listed, please contact the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.
